Prior to joining Chatham House as director in January 2007, Robin Niblett was executive vice president and CEO of American foreign policy think tank Center for Strategic and International Studies. An influential moderate spokesperson for domestic and foreign policy issues generally relating to international relations, Niblett is co-chair of the World Economic Forums Global Futures Council on Geopolitics. In Westminster, he was chair of a British Academy committee on defence and comments frequently on UK foreign policy matters, often via Twitter.
