Simon Greaves has over 18 years’ in-house and agency experience, advising biopharmaceutical companies on shaping the market-access environment and building their reputation. During this time, he led the AstraZeneca Corporate Affairs function for the Europe region, where he built public affairs capabilities across affiliates to prepare them for successful speciality care launches.
He also led the UK Corporate Affairs group, where he was responsible for AstraZeneca’s policy response to Brexit, reporting into the Board, and was business partner to the R&D group, leading on science communications and R&D policy.
Greaves has strong Brussels knowledge, having set up one of the first digital political monitoring services and having worked on healthcare advocacy at Hill + Knowlton. Most recently, Greaves has been advising the UK Department of Health and Social Care on the Covid-19 Testing Programme.
