Sasha Havlicek founded the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD) in 2006 as a global think tank committed to understanding and creating responses to polarisation and extremism in global politics. She was previously senior director at the Centre for Border Cooperation at the EastWest Institute. In her current role, Havlicek has spearheaded the global network of former extremists in partnership with Google’s Jigsaw, the Strong Cities Network and the Innovation Hub – a partnership with Facebook, Google and Twitter to counter the efforts of extremists online. She is a member of the Women without Borders SAVE initiative and the European Council on foreign relations.
