FTI Consulting hires ex-Three UK communications chief

Mace | 9th July 2026 | Lobbying, Moves

Former director of corporate communications at Three UK, Juliet Callaghan, has rejoined FTI Consulting’s UK Strategic Communications segment.

Juliet Callaghan has rejoined FTI Consulting as senior managing director and UK head of technology, media and telecommunications in the firm's Strategic Communications division. She previously spent 10 years at FTI Consulting, advising TMT clients on corporate communications, transactions and restructurings. Based in London, Callaghan rejoins the consultancy with more than 25 years of experience advising companies and senior leaders on corporate reputation, financial communications and stakeholder engagement.

"Juliet is a highly respected adviser with an exceptional track record"

Charles Palmer, global head of TMT at FTI Consulting’s Strategic Communications segment, said: “Juliet is a highly respected adviser with an exceptional track record across the technology, media and telecommunications sectors, and it is great to have her back. “Her experience spans financial communications, corporate affairs and executive counsel, giving her a deep understanding of the challenges facing leadership teams today. Combined with her time in-house at one of the UK’s largest telecommunications companies, that perspective will be hugely valuable to our clients in the UK and internationally.” During her seven years at Three UK, Callaghan led corporate communications, overseeing the telecoms company's external, internal and corporate responsibility communications programmes. She also worked closely with the executive leadership team throughout the merger of Three UK and Vodafone UK. Following the announcement that Vodafone’s chief corporate affairs and sustainability officer, Nikki Lyons, would head the comms team after the merger, Callaghan announced she would leave the business once the deal had been completed. In her new role at FTI Consulting, Callaghan will lead the firm's UK TMT practice, advising boards, C-suite executives and corporate affairs teams on reputation, transactions and other strategic business issues. She will also support clients in their engagement with investors, employees, regulators, policymakers and the media. Prior to joining Three UK Callaghan was head of technology, media and telecoms at Powerscourt, advising listed and private companies on financial communications, transactions and corporate positioning. Callaghan said: “I am delighted to return to FTI Consulting. "The TMT sector has never been more complex, and I cannot think of a better platform from which to advise clients navigating it." Charles Armitstead, UK head of Strategic Communications at FTI Consulting, added: “We are delighted to welcome Juliet back to FTI Consulting. Her return reflects both the strength of our TMT practice and the momentum across our strategic communications business. “Juliet’s sector expertise and first-hand experience inside a major organisation will further strengthen our ability to support clients as they navigate change, growth and increasingly complex stakeholder environments.” FTI Consulting is the UK’s fifth-biggest agency, with an estimated £67m in UK revenue in 2025, according to the most recent PRWeek UK Top 150 Consultancies project. Last month, the firm hired Robert Stone as a managing director in its Strategic Communications segment, and Liz Lynch as a senior managing director in the Corporate Reputation practice....
