Social media guru Horowitz played a central part in the creation of Brand Rishi, bringing new life to the chancellor’s social media and public profile. A former journalist at ITV, Sky News, Channel 4 and the BBC, his creative media agency worked on the Conservative Party’s Instagram in 2017. Having worked with Allegra Stratton on Robert Peston’s programme for ITV, she knew his calibre and recruited Horowitz to the Joint Economic Unit. Horowitz is the son of the hugely successful author and screenwriter Anthony Horowitz, creator of the Alex Rider series and writer of ITV’s Foyle’s War.
