As Spad to Dominic Raab, Brexiteer Armstrong plays a key role in government, jetting around the world with her boss and advising him on a range of thorny foreign policy issues. Armstrong is a former Spad to Michael Gove at Education and again at Justice, and has also worked at CCHQ as an opposition researcher. In the private sector, she has worked for Bell Pottinger, PR firm Teneo and played a key role in the Vote Leave campaign as a ministerial debating coach. She also worked on Johnson’s reelection campaign for London mayor in 2012.
