Senior Partner and Head of Healthcare

Andrew Parsons has been at RadcliffesLeBrasseur for over 30 years and was promoted to senior partner in October 2017, having spent over a decade on the management board. He specialises in health and social care law and has particular expertise in clinical negligence and mental health law. Parsons works with clients including the NHS, private hospitals and healthcare providers, care home operators and health insurers. In September 2018, RadcliffesLeBrasseur was appointed to the NHS Shared Business Services framework for legal services. This framework allows NHS Trusts and other public sector bodies to procure legal services from equality assured legal suppliers. Parsons also undertakes judicial review work and advises clients on property and commercial litigation including disputed wills, trust and capacity issues. He is an advisor to CQC, the health and safety executive and the police. On top of this, Parsons provides an education programme to clients, healthcare sector organisations and individuals, including lecturing regularly to doctors, nurses and other NHS staff. He is the author of Tenant Default Under Commercial Leases (published in 1993) and is a member of The Lowtonian Society, The Law Society and The City of London Solicitors’ Livery Company, in addition to being a trustee for the QEH For Children research trust.
