Stephen Matthew spent 14 years working in local government, before joining law firm Eversheds in 1995 where he stayed for ten years. He then moved to Nabarro LLP in 2005 and Browne Jacobson LLP in 2014. Matthew focuses on regeneration for local authorities and developers, as well as managing outsourcings, funding schemes and asset transfers between the private a public sectors. He is currently working on Public Private Partnerships projects in Africa and Asia. He has also recently advised Newark and Sherwood District Council on its plans for a new Travelodge and acted for Enfield Council towards investment in the area’s heat network.
