Alex Dillistone began her career in law at Clifford Chance in 2010, before moving on to become a lawyer at the Department of Energy and Climate Change in 2012. She joined Winckworth Sherwood, where she works today, as an associate in 2015, becoming a partner in 2018. Dillistone specialises in infrastructure and energy projects, with particular skills in drafting and advising on legislation and negotiating with stakeholders. She advised on the passage of the Infrastructure Act 2015 and revised the Environmental Impact Assessment Directive, as well as acting on a number of politically-sensitive matters. She is a member of the UK Environmental Law Association.
