He has experience working with families whose loved ones have died in custody and has been responsible for developing UK legal practice for over 30 years. Bhatt has advised parliamentary committees including the joint committee on human rights and the home affairs committee, as well as the Metropolitan Police, the independent police complaints commission and the European committee on the prevention of torture.
