King provides senior political counsel to Hanover’s clients across various sectors. He worked in public affairs from 2010-2012 before joining the government as special adviser to Maria Miller at the DCMS. He was retained by Sajid Javid as his lead policy adviser when Javid became culture secretary and then moved with him to work on policy at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and at the Department for Communities and Local Government. King has also worked in the sports industry, with spells in both the USA and Saudi Arabia. He is also a research fellow at the Centre for Policy Studies.
