Mike Birtwistle co-founded Incisive Health in 2013, a consultancy specialising in health policy and communications. He is an expert in driving policy change in health systems, having led multiple award-winning campaigns. These have generated significant wins for patients, on issues including guaranteeing earlier diagnoses, improved access to treatment and better delivery of services. Prior to this, he was a managing director at MHP Communications. Birtwistle is a regular contributor to the Health Service Journal and has been awarded the “Communiquétor of the Year” award for delivering sector-leading advice and outcomes.
