Laura Blake was recognised in the 2015 Public Affairs Awards as one of the UK’s most successful and effective public affairs consultants. With particular specialisms in housing, education and pensions, she also has a background working in the chemicals industry and with water companies. Blake leads Connect’s work supporting in-house teams and she has helped get in-house teams on track in some of the largest companies in the world, including spending time on secondment. Blake has helped develop the careers of many young women in public affairs and encouraged them to achieve their potential. She was appointed a trustee of the Young Women’s Trust in 2015.
