Ex-Finn Partners Ireland leaders join public affairs agency

Two senior partners who left communications agency Finn Partners’ Irish operation last month have revealed their next move.

Nuala Ryan and Paddy O’Dea have been appointed directors at Paritee-owned public affairs agency Fenton Fitzwilliam. The pair announced their departure from Finn Partners’ Dublin office last month. Finn Partners established its presence in Ireland after acquiring Irish integrated communications firm 360 in December 2021, with the aim of expanding its EMEA footprint and aligning its service offerings with those in the US. Ryan and O’Dea had both worked at the agency before the acquisition and spent more than a decade at the firm, having joined in 2015. Effective from 1 September, they will take on director positions at Fenton Fitzwilliam’s Dublin headquarters, working alongside colleagues based in Brussels, Glasgow and London. Fenton Fitzwilliam, a sister agency to Brands2Life, was launched in Dublin last year by Brands2Life head of public affairs Moray Macdonald, who previously held roles at Weber Shandwick and Instinctif Partners.
