A prominent voice on inclusivity in education and a vocal advocate for racial justice, Nicola Rollock has become a leading voice on UK race issues. She has called for the introduction of a Race Equality Charter which would “see benchmarks on race equality in performance reviews” in academia. In her work, she has examined Critical Race Theory, theories of whiteness and intersectionality. In 2009, she wrote ‘The Stephen Lawrence Inquiry 10 Years On’ for the Runnymede Trust. She is a specialist adviser to the Home Affairs’ Select Committee and a Senior Adviser (Race & Higher Education) at the University of Cambridge.
