A former BBC Berkshire reporter, Robin Chu is CEO of the social mobility quango he established in February 2014. In 2018, Chu took on another role as associate faculty to the Academy of Executive Coaching, where he has co-created and facilitated the Young Professionals Coaching Skills certificate. In 2019, Chu spent nine months as trust director at Fairfax multi-academy trust, focusing on improving education standards. An Exeter graduate, Chu has explained his passion for social mobility as stemming from his own experience being the first generation of his family to go to university.
