Ellen Hof is managing director at Hill+Knowlton Strategies in Brussels, which she joined in 2013. As a leader of the Public Affairs Practice Group she advises a variety of international clients at both Belgian and EU level on legislative and regulatory issues. She works for a range of clients in the fields of sustainability, circular economy and food & nutrition. Her extensive experience also incorporates complex communication campaigns for the European Commission. Prior to joining Hill+Knowlton Strategies, Hof was project coordinator for EuropaBio, the European trade association for the biotechnology industry, before which she had completed an internship in the Natural Sciences department of UNESCO in Paris and worked for the African Research Centre on Bananas and Plantains (CARBAP) in Cameroon. A Belgian national, she speaks fluent English and French along with her native Dutch.
