Matt Hancocks’s former parliamentary researcher and caseworker has made an excellent and well-regarded policy SpAd at the Department of Health and Social care over the past two years. As Hancock’s right-hand man dealing with health policy, life in 2020 in particular was not quiet, with both Nixon and his co-SpAds Emma Dean, Jamie Njoku-Goodwin and then Damon Poole at the forefront of supporting Hancock. Nixon has a degree in law from the University of Dundee and a Master’s in International Relations from a prestigious Japanese institution. He also spent time at a university in Hong Kong for a time.
