Henry Cook is a great survivor of Spadding, having worked with Michael Gove at five departments, as well as on the Vote Leave campaign. He was also a key figure in the drama when Gove decided that, after all, he wasn’t backing Boris Johnson for the leadership of the Conservative Party in 2016. More recently, he’s been on the press team and in the senior management of the Spad team at Downing Street.
