Ed Taylor joined Weber Shandwick as a director before going on a three-month sabbatical at the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020 to serve as a special advisor to Matt Hancock. On returning to Weber he was promoted to the MD role, overseeing a team of specialists who work hand-in- hand with the agency’s consumer insight and strategy teams. Having spent time working for Ofcom and in the Telegraph’s corporate affairs team, Taylor is well-placed to advise on highly regulated and scrutinised industries. He started his career as a parliamentary researcher to then Conservative Party leader Michael Howard.
