James Nason is responsible for advising clients and implementing their programmes in sectors including financial services, transport, energy and technology. He joined Instinctif Partners after being deputy MD of the public affairs practice at Citigate, where he advised a number of major clients. Nason has extensive research, communications and campaigning experience in a political party environment, and currently sits on the campaigning committee of Shrewsbury Conservatives. Internationally, he has worked on projects in Kenya, Namibia, the Côte d’Ivoire and the Royal Bafokeng Nation. Nason has also focussed on working with Local Enterprise Partnerships and on placemaking projects with Medway Council, Hull City of Culture 2017 and Coventry City of Culture 2021.
