Emily Cook’s recent promotion to managing director of Lexington comes after a three-year growth spree at the agency that has driven a 60 per cent increase in revenue. Cook spent 12 years as a national newspaper journalist specialising in health before switching to consultancy. She proved herself during three years at the helm of Lexington’s health practice, where she doubled its size and revenue. Described as “a brilliant leader and business entrepreneur”, Cook is now tasked with leading Lexington as it shifts direction and strengthens its position as a future-facing agency, helping its clients to ‘shape tomorrow,’ “whether that’s by engaging audiences, driving new ideas or increasing awareness of key issues.” Lexington’s clients include International Airlines Group, Eurotunnel, UPS, the American Motion Picture Association, Pfizer, Roche Diagnostics and Mars.
