Angela Jackman has been a partner at Simpson Millar since 2010. She began her career at Hackney community law centre, before going on to specialise in education, mental capacity and community care law. Notable cases she has been involved with include G v St Gregory’s Catholic Science College (2011) and A and B v Secretary of State for Health (2017). She is an accredited practitioner under the Law Society’s mental capacity accreditation scheme, a senior lecturer at The City Law School and a fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Jackman is secretary of the Education Law Practitioners’ Group and is a member of the Law Society human rights committee.
