Previously a partner on the Rees & Freres Parliamentary team, James O’Connor has been a partner in the Eversheds Sutherland National Planning Team since 2006. His specialism is in public infrastructure, including the promotion of Transport and Work Acts, Harbours and Development Consent Orders. He also focuses on highways and environmental issues, planning and listed building developments, open spaces and other matters concerning the implementation of transport and energy infrastructure projects. O’Connor is involved in working out the detail needed to carry out parliament’s commitment to “English devolution” and the investment in the Northern Powerhouse, Midlands Engine and Western Gateway.
