As a partner of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner since 2001, Tim Smith specialises in a range of planning and environmental work for both public and private sector clients including strategic advice, legal agreements, inquiry and court work. He was a member of the Law Society’s Planning & Environment Committee between 2009-2021, chairing the Committee from 2017 – 2020, and has served as both a part-time Tribunal Judge and Deputy High Court Judge. The Legal 500 and Chambers legal directories both consistently rate Smith as a leader in planning work.
