Mytheresa Grows Revenue Despite U.S. Headwinds and Tariff Pressures

Luxury retailer Mytheresa posted 3.8% revenue growth in Q3 2025, driven by strong demand in Europe and the Middle East. U.S. sales lagged due to tariffs and cautious consumers. Despite lower margins, the company raised its full-year outlook, citing resilient high-end demand and international expansion.

Luxury fashion retailer Mytheresa reported a 3.8 per cent increase in net revenue for the third quarter of the 2025 fiscal year, attributing the growth to strong performance in Southern Europe and the Middle East. The company said net sales reached €228.1 million, up from €219.7 million in the same period last year. Growth was partially offset by weaker demand in the United States, where consumer caution and higher tariffs on European imports are weighing on performance. Mytheresa’s gross merchandise value for the quarter rose by 4.8 per cent year-on-year to €252.8 million. The company said that while demand remained stable in core European markets, it saw “outsized growth” in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, where luxury consumption has rebounded sharply in recent months. Customer acquisition in those regions was supported by localised marketing strategies and exclusive product drops. Operating income for the quarter fell slightly to €7.4 million, down from €8.5 million the previous year, as margin pressures from higher logistics and import costs continued. The firm’s adjusted EBITDA margin declined to 5.8 per cent, compared with 6.9 per cent in the previous year’s quarter. Executives said costs related to U.S. trade policy had a direct effect on shipping and inventory management. In response to market headwinds, Mytheresa is increasing its focus on international expansion and brand collaborations. It recently announced new capsule collections with luxury labels in the Italian and Japanese markets. The firm’s active customer base rose to 942,000, a year-on-year increase of 10.2 per cent. Average order value held steady at €645. Despite the uncertain global outlook, Mytheresa raised its full-year revenue guidance modestly, forecasting low to mid-single-digit growth. The company cited resilient demand among high-income consumers in EMEA and the success of its top-tier customer loyalty programme as factors expected to support performance in the final quarter of the year....
