WA Communications, Pendragon and Cavendish were amongst some of the names that came out on top

The PRCA Public Affairs Awards 2026 ceremony took place earlier this week at the Marriott Grosvenor Square to recognise and celebrate the very highest standards in public affairs.  Groups such as Luther Pendragon, Cavendish, H/Advisors Cicero, and WA Communications were among the night's standout performers. Luther Pendragon had a strong evening, taking home the Best In-House Consultancy Collaboration award for its Funding the Frontline campaign with Community Pharmacy England, whilst also being named as the Small to Medium Consultancy of the Year, with GK Strategy receiving a highly commended in the latter category. Cavendish was named Large Consultancy of the Year, whilst also being highly commended for its Kintore Hydrogen campaign in the Planning Campaign of the Year category, and a further highly commended for Ladies with Letters in the UK Campaign of the Year - Beyond London. SEC Newgate UK took the Consultancy Campaign of the Year for its Fairer Energy Future campaign, while WA Communications and Landmark Information Group claimed the Strategic Communications or Corporate Brand Campaign of the Year for their work launching a blueprint to improve the homebuying and selling process. Transport for London won In-House Campaign of the Year for its Making the Case for Investment campaign, with Which? being highly commended for its Protect Online Shoppers Campaign. In the Planning category, BIG Partnership won for Turning the Tide, securing consent for Scotland's first semi-closed salmon farm. H/Advisors Cicero claimed the Trade Body and Voluntary Sector Campaign of the Year for the Rare Cancers Bill campaign, with KCPR KateClarkPR highly commended, while Dogs Trust won the UK Campaign of the Year – Beyond London for its Housing (Scotland) Bill Campaign. NCC Group's Government Affairs Team won In-House Team of the Year, and Alice Perry of Aviva received the Outstanding Contribution Award. On the individual side of things, Amisha Parikh-Friese of Beyond2050 was named Public Affairs Professional of the Year, and Jo Field of JFG Communications won Public Affairs Woman of the Year, with Natasha Egan-Sjodin of WA Communications highly commended. Speaking in response to her success, JFG Communications founder Jo Field said: Jo said: “I’m honoured to be named as Public Affairs Woman of the Year. This win not only reflects my work in championing diversity, but also the hard work of my team at JFG Comms and my colleagues at Women in Transport.”  Having secured the Trailblazer of the Year award, Sonia Khan said: "Winning the PRCA Trailblazer award means a huge amount to me, particularly because my career and my personal life have been so intertwined over the past decade. Public affairs is ultimately about people and the causes that matter to them, and much of what drives me professionally has been shaped by my husband Dan’s long journey with brain cancer. Hope has kept us going through some incredibly difficult moments, but I’ve come to realise that hope alone is not enough - people have to step forward and drive change. Bringing together charities, parliamentarians and industry to help move the dial and support what is now the Rare Cancers Act felt like the least I could do for the many cancer patients and survivors I’ve met along the way. It’s an honour to have that work recognised by peers in the industry."...
