Michael Prescott brings experience in national journalism and the higher reaches of the FTSE 100 to Hanover, offering senior communications and political counsel to a wide array of global clients. As corporate affairs director at BT, he helped to launch and shape the brand image of BT Sport and was part of the team which won regulatory support for the merger with mobile operator EE. He was also instrumental in brokering an agreement with government over the state-backed rollout of rural superfast broadband. Before BT, Prescott was MD of corporate communications and public affairs at Weber Shandwick advising organisations including Virgin Media, Balfour Beatty MasterCard and IKEA. Michael spent 17 years as a journalist, ten of them at The Sunday Times, where he served as chief political correspondent and then political editor.
