Elizabeth Adams has 18 years’ experience in the global energy and real estate sectors as a journalist, consultant and in-house comms chief. She leads FTI’s Strategic Communications’ energy transition, renewables, and energy technology work. Her areas of expertise are capital markets, financial and corporate communications, as well as corporate responsibility and positioning. Adams has advised BP, Vitol, Cairn Energy and, more recently Drax, Mainstream Renewable Energy, Octopus, Puma Energy, Siemens Gamesa and Southern Water. Adams is a former foreign correspondent for the Wall Street Journal, spending time in Oslo and London, was Head of Communications at Canary Wharf Group – London’s biggest regeneration project and home to fintech accelerator Level39 – and led Corporate Affairs at UK challenger utility UK Power Reserve.
