Fundacion Civismo is a think tank that works in defence of personal freedom under the principles of classical liberalism. Through its research, it assesses the effects of economic and social policies and pushes for reform through outreach activities addressing both public opinion and policymakers. It promotes an active civil society as a necessary condition for freedom and prosperity. Their main values are personal freedom, tolerance, limited and representative government, rule of law, private property and the free market. Alongside research and outreach activities, Civismo also focuses on training and formation initiatives, which are mainly oriented to young people.
